Update: The new office manager (Nora) was so kind, empathetic, and helpful. She addressed our concerns and went through the billing issue with a fine tooth comb to see what went wrong. I am confident that if we were to return, the billing would be accurate. I am also confident that if any concerns arose in the future, they would be addressed within a reasonable time frame. I do not know how this dentist office is getting any good reviews. Worst dental experience our kids have ever had. Just about the same for my husband and I. Erroneous charge to dispute? They will not call you back. Pediatric Dentist on Staff: We came knowing our kids needed some fillings. Quick move made it impossible to get the work done at their previous dentist. Dr.Okoye took the scared straight approach. I appreciate honesty and straight forward communication, but his demeanor was harsh. This was the constant feedback I got from my kids and what I had seen. Even from ones that didn't need dental work. He did not make the kids feel comfortable at all. Dental Work: Every member of our family that got a filling at Stonewall (by different members of staff - pediatric and adult) all had extreme sensitivity following the procedure for upwards of two months. While this is a posibility with any dental work, it was unusual that none of us had ever previously experienced sensitivity beyond a few days and yet all of us had experience it for such a long time after coming here. To me, that's more than a coincidence. Billing: Worst billing department ever. They source out and the person will not call you back. We got an unexpected high bill (after paying in full each appointment). We called and were told the billing person would contact us. A month went by, no call. We called back after receiving another bill. They said the same thing, no call. We got them to send us the ledger for the charges which turned out to be erroneous (random increases to patient responsibility beyond the contracted amount with no explanation). We emailed back requesting an appointment that week to discuss the erroneous charges since they were now charging interest and saying our bill was 120 days overdue (at this point it had been 60ish days since receiving the first bill). They refused the appointment and said we would be contacted by billing soon. It's been another two weeks, no call.
